Padel Tennis Championship

This year NAS Sports Tournament will once again host three local padel competitions. The tournaments will all take place at the NAS Sports Complex, with the main draw tournament starting on the 8th of June and running throughout Ramadan. The tournament will consist of a UAE National Tournament, a Mens Open Doubles Tournament and a Teams tournament, which will all finished around June 28th.

All of the competitions will be having qualifying matches prior to Ramadan so please be available to play in the evenings and weekends throughout May. Spectators are welcome for qualifying and for the main draw, so please feel free to invite friends/family to come and support in NAS Sports Complex

Mens Open –
• All players require a UAE residence VISA of a minimum of 6 months and must arrange their own partner.
• Qualifying for Category B will take place on 20th & 21st May (top 4 pairs qualify for Category A)
• Qualifying for Category A will take place on 27th & 28th May (top 8 pairs will join the top 2 seeds in the Main Draw, which will be a group format)
• Registration closing date: 17th May 2016

UAE Nationals –
• All players must be UAE passport holders
• 1st Round of the tournament will take place 3rd & 4th June.
• This will be a knockout tournament with quarterfinals held during Ramadan.
• Registration closing date: 24th May 2016

Teams competition –
• 4 players require UAE residence VISA of a minimum of 6 months and the fifth player doesn’t need a residence VISA.
• Invited players should be organized by the teams and must not be in the top 100 WPT.
• 1st round will start in the 1st week of June.
• Teams should be available from 1st June.
• Registration closing date: 24th May 2016
