The Prequalifying matches for the Padel Competition shall be held at second week of April, and the knockout contest shall be held in Ramadan during the period from 14/04/2021 to 27/04/2021.
All citizens and residents players shall be allowed to participate according to the categories described below.
The participant player shall be medically fit on his/her own responsibility.
The Technical Committee of the Competition may take all decisions and actions that will regulate the Competition according to the desired way, including amendments to the matches’ schedule.

The match is the best of 3 sets, with tie-break at 6-6 in games, unless stated by the tournament organizers.
The Competition will be a knockout format.
All players shall be committed to attend the qualifying for the Competition, which shall be held in April.
Commitment to wearing appropriate footwear during the competition.
Reference shall be made to regulations of the UAE Padel Federation in organizing this competition in exception with what is included herein.

UAEPA GOLD Category/Men: All UAE Nationals and residents male with skill level A & B only shall be allowed to participate in this category. (locally Ranked)
UAEPA Bronze Category /Men: All UAE Nationals and residents male with skill level C only shall be allowed to participate in this category. (locally Ranked)
UAEPA Bronze Category /Women: All UAE Nationals and residents female with skill level B & C only shall be allowed to participate in this category. (locally Ranked)
FIP STAR – Category (M & F): Internationality ranked tournament regulated by International Padel Federation (FIP), Registration will be managed thru the official website of FIP (www.padelfip.com). We recommend only Top professional players will skill level A to participate in this category.

Gold Categories/Men:
- The qualifying phase will be a knockout format, with sixteen pairs that qualify to the main draw, held during Ramadan.
- Main Draw: The competition will be a knockout format.
Bronze Categories/Men:
- The qualifying phase will be a knockout format, with sixteen pairs that qualify to the main draw, held during Ramadan.
- Main Draw: The competition will be a knockout format.
Bronze Category / Women:
- The qualifying phase will be a knockout format, with eight pairs that qualify to the main draw, held during Ramadan.
- Main Draw: The competition will be a knockout format.
FIP STAR:
- Regulated by the international Padel federation
- Qualifying phase will take place on 8th -10th April
- Main Draw : will take place on 14th -25th April
- The competition will be a knockout format.

The matches shall be held in the Padel Arena in Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.
The competition in Ramadan shall be announced in a detailed schedule.
The players shall be responsible for checking the date and timing of their games through the website and publications in Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.
The players shall register 15 minutes before the game begins, if the player is 15 minutes late or more, the match will be considered forfeit and the player will lose.
Note: No spectators / fans allowed in Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.

Participants in UAEPA tournaments categories will award ranking points as per described in table below.
The first three players shall be awarded (gold, silver, and bronze) medals in all categories.
Cash prizes (in AED) shall be awarded to the first three categories as shown in the table below. For the FIP STAR category it will be distributed according to the International Federation system.

Registration opens on 21/03/2021 to 05/04/2021.
All Participants must take (PCR) test of COVID-19 and submit proof of a negative result to the organizing committee before the match. The result of test is valid for (48) hours starting from the issuing date.
All Participants must bring their original Emirates ID (for Expats the residence VISA must have been issued before 1/1/2021), except participant in FIP STAR.
Participants shall not be allowed to change the category of the competition after the deadline.
Registration will be closed when the permitted number in each category is completed.
All participants shall sign a statement of health and physical fitness and shall agree to the conditions of participation and respect to the regulations of the Competition.

Complaints shall be submitted in written to the Chairman of the Referees Committee no later than 15 minutes after the end of the match and according to the prescribed form.
Complaints shall not be accepted unless they are presented with an amount of AED (300) which shall be refunded in case of acceptance of the Complaint, and shall be submitted to the Organizing Committee in case of rejection.
The Technical Committee alone shall be entitled to interpret and explain the regulations and laws and take the appropriate decisions, and in all cases, these decisions shall be final.
