General Terms:
- The Prequalifying matches for the Local UAEPA Padel Competitions shall be held in the last week of February 2025, and the knockout contest shall be held in Ramadan during the period from 1 - 19/03/2025.
- The participant shall be medically fit on his/her own responsibility.
- The Technical Committee of the Competition may take all decisions and actions that will regulate the Competition according to the desired way, including amendments to the matches’ schedule.
Special Terms:
- The match is the best of 3 sets, with tie-break at 6-6 in games, unless stated by the tournament organizers.
- All the Competition will be a knockout format.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate footwear during the competition.
- Reference shall be made to the regulations of the UAE Padel Federation and international regulations regarding organizing this competition with what is included herein.
Competition Categories & Dates:
- UAEPA Tournaments:
- Qualification Stage: 21 – 28 Feb
- Main Draw: 3rd – 19th March 2025, only 16 pairs qualify to the main draw.
- Categories:
- UAEPA 20 / Men’s: Open for all men’s players except top 30 UAEPA ranking players, coaches, or national teams’ players.
- UAEPA 20 / Women: Open for women’s players except national teams’ players or coaches out of UAE.
- Under 18 / Boys: Must not have reached the age of 18 by 1st January 2025.
- NAS Open Pairs Tournament:
- Main Draw: 9th – 12 March 2025
- Registration: Open for players from Asia, Continental, and Australia only. Pairs players must have the same nationality.
- Registrations: Limited to 32 teams only. Team confirmation is subject to the organizer’s committee decision & approval based on seeding ranking internationally, regionally, and locally.
- International Padel Federation Tournament:
- FIP Gold:
- Qualification Stage: 26-28 Feb 2025
- Main Draw: 1st - 3rd March 2025
- FIP rules and regulations applied.
- Registration through the official FIP website.
- FIP Promises:
- Qualification Stage: 13th March 2025
- Main Draw: 14th – 16th March 2025
- FIP rules and regulations applied.
- Registration opens for boys under 18, 16, 14 years old. Players must not have reached the required age for each category by 1st January 2025.
Location and Timing of the Competition:
- The matches shall be held in NAS Sports Complex.
- The competition in Ramadan shall be announced in a detailed schedule.
- Players shall be responsible for checking the date and timing of their games through the website and publications in Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.
- Players shall register 15 minutes before the game begins. If the player is 15 minutes late or more, the match will be considered a forfeit, and the player will lose.
Results and Awards:
- Participants in UAEPA tournaments categories will earn ranking points as described on the official UAEPA website.
- The first three players shall be awarded (gold, silver, and bronze) medals in all categories.
- Cash prizes (in AED) shall be awarded to the first three places.
Registration:
- Registration opens on 23/01/2025 to 14/02/2025.
- Participants shall not be allowed to change the category of the competition after the deadline.
- Registration will be closed when the permitted number in each category is completed.
- All participants shall sign a statement on health and physical fitness and shall agree to the conditions of participation and respect the regulations of the Competition.

Complaints:
- Complaints shall be submitted in writing to the Chairman of the Referees Committee no later than 15 minutes after the end of the match and according to the prescribed form.
- Complaints shall not be accepted unless they are presented with an amount of AED (300) which shall be refunded in case of acceptance of the complaint and shall be submitted to the Organizing Committee in case of rejection.
- The Technical Committee alone shall be entitled to interpret and explain the regulations and laws and take the appropriate decisions, and in all cases, these decisions shall be final.
