In 2016, the NAS Sports Tournament, for the fourth consecutive year, will include a 10 KM run. The race will start from the Falcon Heritage Center near Meydan Hotel running along the front of the Hotel on Meydan Road and finishing at The Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.

The event takes place on 24 June at 10.15pm. The race will have four categories –men’s Race (resident), Elite Emirati (clubs , army , police),Female Race, Elite nonresident (male – female). The starts will be in 1 - 2 minute interval between waves.

The roads will be completely closed for the race from 9.30pm, so the contestants are requested to reach the starting point on time to avoid any disappointment at being excluded from the event.

Please note that Car parking is available close to the START BUT any late arrivals will have to park the Cycle Track at Mohammed bin Rashid City District One Cycle Track and make their way across from there. For Families and friends who want to watch the finish, Parking will also be available at the NAS sports Complex with Grandstand Big Screen, live viewing and refreshments available for purchase.

  • Race packs will be issued during dates 19th, 20th June 2016 from 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM at Falcon Heritage Center near Meydan Hotel.
  • Registration will close at 12pm on Wednesday 8th june 2016..
  • No Race packs will be issued on the Race day.
  • Participants are encouraged to make their way back to the start after the Award Ceremony has completed or once the road is clear.
  • The contestant must bring original emirates ID and passport copy with valid visa for minimum six months when collecting numbers and e-chips. (Please attach previous visa copy if it is recently changed or renewed).
