Running Race 4 , 5 & 10 KM

Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament (NAS) 2023
General Terms:
- The Adult 10 KM, 5 KM, Senior 5 KM, and the youth 4 KM Running Races shall be held on Friday 7/04/2023.
- All the citizens and residents as well as local players from inside the State shall be allowed to participate in the categories specified below.
- The participant shall be medically fit on his/her own responsibility, registering on the race will be considered as personal declaration to that effect.
- Participation in the running championship is considered an individual participation and it is prohibited to publicize the names of institutions or any other parties at the awarding ceremony.
- Participant aged 17 years old and below should submit parental approvement.
- Reference shall be made to regulations of the UAE Athletics Federation in organizing this competition in exception with what is included herein.
Special Terms:

Each participant shall be committed to participate only in the category s/he is registered in as below:
Categories Races Age Adult 10 KM Race 16 years old and above (Born in 2007 and below) 5 KM Race 15 years old and above (Born in 2008 and below) Senior 50 years old and above (Born in 1973 and below)Youth 4 KM Race (Born from 2009 to 2010) Junior (Born from 2011 to 2012) - Commitment to having clear chest numbers.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate running shoe during the competition.
The 10 KM Categories:
- 1. Open Category/UAE National Men: it is allowed to participate in this category for Amateur UAE Nationalities, Players from National Teams, Clubs, Police, Armed Forces and Civil Defense and who participate in above entity Races.
- Open Category/UAE National Women: it is allowed to participate in this category for Amateur UAE Nationalities, Players from National Teams, Clubs, Police, Armed Forces and Civil Defense and who participate in above entity Races.
- Open Category/Men. It is allowed for residents from community and from Armed Forces, Police, Civil Defense, Club Players, Fitness and Athlete Trainers and Coaches to participate in this category.
- Open Category/Women. It is allowed for residents from community and from Armed Forces, Police, Civil Defense, Club Players, Fitness and Athlete Trainers and Coaches to participate in this category.
The 5 KM Categories:
- Community /UAE National Men:
it is allowed for Amateur UAE Nationalities to participate in this category, excluding:
- - Players and Coaches from National Teams, Clubs, Police, Armed Forces and Civil Defense
- - whom participated before at least once in above entity Races
- Community /UAE National Women:
it is allowed for Amateur UAE Nationalities to participate in this category, excluding:
- - Players and Coaches from National Teams, Clubs, Police, Armed Forces and Civil Defense.
- - whom participated before at least once in above entity Races

- Senior / Men: : it is allowed for UAE Nationality and resident Seniors aged 50 years old and above (Born in 1973 and below) to participate
- Senior / Women: it is allowed for UAE Nationality and resident Seniors aged 50 years old and above (Born in 1973 and below) to participate.
The Youngsters 4 KM Race Categories:
- Open Category/Youth-Boys: it is allowed for UAE Nationality and resident (Born in 2009 and 2010).
- Open Category/Youth-Girls: it is allowed for UAE Nationality and resident (Born in 2009 and 2010).
- Open Category/ Junior -Boys: it is allowed for UAE Nationality and resident (Born in 2011 and 2012).
- Open Category/ Junior - Girls: it is allowed for UAE Nationality and resident (Born in 2011 and 2012).
Location and Timing of the Races:
- The Youngsters Race will start at 10:00 p.m., the 5 KM Race at 10:03 p.m. and the 10 KM Race at 10:10 p.m.
- The Race will be organized in the Meydan Racecourse.
- The race shall begin in the form of groups with an interval timing.
- Participants shall be in the start point by 9:15 p.m. as all the roads leading to the starting point shall be closed after this time.
Results and Awards:
- The winning racer shall be the one who crosses the finish line first and no violation is registered against him/her.
- The first three players shall be awarded (gold, silver, and bronze) medals in all categories.
- Cash prizes (in AED) shall be awarded to the winners.
Registration:
- Registration opens from 13/02/2023 to 3/04/2023.
- All Participants must bring their original Emirates ID (for Expats the residence VISA must valid) and submit it to the organizing committee.
- The chest and chip numbers shall be delivered in Dubai Bike (DXBIKE) as following table, noting that they shall not be delivered on the race day:
