Regulations for the Laser Run Championship

Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament (NAS) 2025

General Terms:
  1. The Laser Run Shooting Championship will be held for all ages, male and female citizens and residents from 7 years old to 69 years old, on Monday and Tuesday, 10 and 11/3/2025.
  2. All the citizens and residents from inside the State and citizens of GCC countries shall be allowed to participate in the categories specified below.
  3. The participant shall be medically fit on his/her own responsibility, registering on the race will be considered as personal declaration to that effect.
  4. Participation in the Shooting and Running Championship is considered individual participation, it is prohibited to publicize the names of institutions or any other parties at the awarding ceremony.
  5. Participants aged 17 years old and below should submit parental approvement.
  6. Reference shall be made to regulations of the UAE Modern Pentathlon Federation in organizing this competition in exception with what is included herein.
Special Terms:
  1. Each participant must commit to participate within the category in which he is registered, as follows:

  2. Commitment to wearing appropriate running shoes during the competition.
  3. Commitment to wearing sports uniform for running for men and women.
Location and Timing of the Races:
  1. The championship will be organized at Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex (Hall).
  2. The technical committee will determine the qualifying dates and the schedule for the participants according to the number of participants, and the participants will be informed during the technical meeting preceding the tournament.
  3. All players must be present at the tournament venue at least (60) minutes before the start of the competitions to review the cards and uniform for running of the competitors.
Results and Awards:
  1. The winning competitor is the one who crosses the finish line in the shortest time and has not been subject to any legal violations.
  2. The first three players shall be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals in all categories.
  3. Cash prizes (in AED) will be awarded to the winners.
Registration:
  1. Registration will open from 17/1/2025 until 7/3/2025.
  2. All participants must bring the original Emirates ID card, and for residents, the residence must be valid.
  3. Chest numbers will be given to all participants in the tournament.
  4. The minimum number of participants in each category is 5 players. If the registered number is not complete, the participants in this category will be transferred to the higher category. Participants are not allowed to change the type of race or category after registration closes.
  5. All participants must sign a declaration of health and physical fitness and agree to the conditions of participation and respect the tournament regulations.
  6. For inquiries about registration in the shooting and running championship:
Complaints:
  1. Complaints shall be submitted in written to the Chairman of the Technical Committee no later than (30) minutes after the end of the race and according to the prescribed form.
  2. Complaints shall not be accepted unless they are presented with an amount of AED 300, which shall be refunded in case of acceptance of the complaint, and shall be submitted to the Organizing Committee in case of rejection.
  3. The Organizing Committee alone shall be entitled to interpret and explain the regulations and laws and take the appropriate decisions. In all cases, these decisions shall be final.
