The List of Regulations for Archery Competition

Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament (NAS) 2022

General Rules:
  • The Competition will be held indoors for all the categories
  • The dates will be on Tuesday & Wednesday, 05 & 06/04/2022
  • Competition is opened for UAE Nationals & Expats in all the listed categories
  • All players must be in a good physical shape & participate on their own responsibility, registering to this competition will be considered as a confirmation of what was mentioned earlier in this point
  • The rules of the world archery will apply to this competition unless stated otherwise in this list
  • Archers must wear appropriate clothes throughout this competition
  • All archers must present a PCR test taken not more than 72 hours before the competition starting date.
Competition Categories:
Compound - Men 18+

Recurve - Men 18+
القوس الأولمبي - رجال 18+
Recurve - Youth 14-17
القوس الأولمبي - شباب 14-17
Recurve - Women 16+
القوس الأولمبي - سيدات 16+
Compound - Men People of Determination

Registration:
  • The registration will be opened from 27/03/2022 till 02/04/2022
  • The registration will be closed if & when the number of maximum participants for the archery competition is reached
  • All the participants must present their original Emirates Identification Card to receive their number before the competition starts.
  • 5. Participants shall not be allowed to change the category of the race after the deadline.
  • 6. All participants shall sign a statement of health and physical fitness and shall agree to the conditions of participation and respect to the regulations of the Competition.
  • For any enquires regarding registration with the Archery Competition:
Prizes:
  • The top 3 Archers in each category will receive medals (Gold – Silver – Bronze)
  • Prize money (in UAE Dirhams) will also be awarded to the winners
Addition Rules:
  • Archers in all the categories will shoot a single qualification round of 10 sets X 3 arrows in each, Eliminations will proceed from “Quarter Final”
  • The distance is set at 18 meters indoors
  • Archers will be shooting on World Archery Vertical 3 Spot Target Faces (3x20 indoor faces), as per the world archery rules for indoor competitions
  • The organizing committee has the right to change the rules & timings to guarantee a fair play to all the participants & to have a smooth competition, ensuring that the contestants will be informed beforehand in case of any changes.
