Padel Competition Regulation

General Terms:
  1. The Prequalifying matches for the Local UAEPA Padel Competitions shall be held at last 1st & 2nd week of February 2026, and the knockout contest shall be held in Ramadan during the period from 21 FEB – 4 March 2026.
  2. The participant shall be medically fit on his/her own responsibility.
  3. The Technical Committee of the Competition may take all decisions and actions that will regulate the Competition according to the desired way, including amendments to the matches’ schedule.
Special Terms:
  1. The match is the best of 3 sets, with tie-break at 6-6 in games, unless stated by the tournament organizers.
  2. All the Competition will be a knockout format.
  3. Commitment to wearing appropriate footwear during the competition.
  4. Reference shall be made to the regulations of the UAE Padel Federation and international regulations regarding organizing this competition with what is included herein.
Location and Timing of the competition:
  1. The matches shall be held in NAS Sports Complex.
  2. The competition in Ramadan shall be announced in a detailed schedule.
  3. The players shall be responsible for checking the date and timing of their games through the website and publications in Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.
  4. The players shall register 15 minutes before the game begins, if the player is 15 minutes late or more, the match will be considered forfeit, and the player will lose.
Results and Awards:
  1. Participants in UAEPA tournaments categories will award ranking points as described at the official UAEPA website.
  2. The first three players shall be awarded (gold, silver, and bronze) medals in all categories.
  3. Cash prizes (in AED) shall be awarded to the first three places.
Registration:
  1. Registration opens on 24/12/2025 to 30/01/2026.
  2. Participants shall not be allowed to change the category of the competition after the deadline.
  3. Registration will be closed when the permitted number in each category is completed.
  4. All participants shall sign a statement on health and physical fitness and shall agree to the conditions of participation and respect the regulations of the Competition.

Competition Categories & Dates:
  1. UAEPA Tournaments:
    • Qualification Stage: 6th – 14th Feb 2026
    • Main Draw: 21st Feb – 4th March 2026, only 16 pairs will qualify to the main draw phase.
    • Categories:
      • UAEPA 20/ Men’s: open only for all citizen and resident men’s players exclude top 25 UAEPA ranking players, coaches or national teams’ players.
      • UAEPA GCC Men’s: open only for citizen and GGC nationalizes men’s players and only top 32 teams will be selected to the main draw base on international and locally ranking.
      • UAEPA GCC women’s: open only for citizen and GGC nationalizes women’s players and only 16 teams will be selected to the main draw base on international and locally ranking.
      • UAEPA 50/ Men’s: open for all citizens, residents, GGC nationalities and GCC resident men’s players exclude top 400 FIP ranking players.
  2. International Padel Federation Tournament (FIP):
    FIP Silver: Men’s & Women’s
    • Qualification Stage: 17th -18th Feb 2026.
    • Main Draw: 19th -22nd March 2026.

    • Qualification Stage: 4th March 2026.
    • Main Draw: 5th – 6th March 2026.

    • Registration opens for the boys & Girls under 18, 16, 14, 12 years old, players must not reach the required age for each category by 1st of January 2026.
Complaints:
  1. Complaints shall be submitted in written to the Chairman of the Referees Committee no later than 15 minutes after the end of the match and according to the prescribed form.
  2. Complaints shall not be accepted unless they are presented with an amount of AED (300) which shall be refunded in case of acceptance of the Complaint and shall be submitted to the Organizing Committee in case of rejection.
  3. The Technical Committee alone shall be entitled to interpret and explain the regulations and laws and take the appropriate decisions, and in all cases, these decisions shall be final.
